- Early On assists families with infants and toddlers from birth to 3 years of age who may be experiencing developmental delays or coping with a diagnosed disability.
- Children's Special Healthcare Services (CSHCS) helps individuals with special health care needs navigate through the CSHCS system of care.
- Pediatric Oncology Resource Team (P.O.R.T.) - P.O.R.T. is a resource for families battling childhood cancer and life-threatening blood disorders.
- Down Syndrome Association - The National Down Syndrome Association is the oldest organization in the country serving individuals with Down syndrome and their families.
- ARC of Kent County - The Association for the Rights of Citizens With Developmental Disabilities helps individuals with developmental disabilities advocate for their own concerns.
- Community Coordinated Child Care (4-C) - The mission of the Michigan 4-C Association is to foster children's success and development through service to the early childhood care and education community.
- 4childcare.org is a local referral service for licensed childcare providers and/or facilities serving Ionia, Kent, Mecosta, Montcalm, Newaygo and Osceola counties.
- DB Central, Central Michigan University provides free statewide technical assistance, information, training and support for families and/or professionals who are impacted by or associated with a child who is deaf or blind.
- Easter Seals Michigan provides top-quality, family-focused and innovative services to meet the specific needs of the particular community it serves.
- Department of Human Services provides financial assistance, food stamps and Medicaid insurance to families experiencing economic challenges.
